PASTORAL MESSAGE TO THE CATHOLIC COMMUNITY OF MIGADDE PARISH
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
We the baptized, let us journey together in Communion, Participation and Mission
With great joy and gratitude to God, I warmly welcome you all to Migadde Catholic Parish, a new parish born from faith, sacrifice, and hope. This moment marks a significant milestone in our Christian journey as a community called together by Christ to worship, serve, and grow in love. We thank our Archbishop Rt. Rev. Paul Ssemwogerere for establishing this parish. It has brought services closer to the people.
The establishment of Migadde Catholic Parish is not merely the creation of new structures, but the planting of a living spiritual family. Each one of us; children, youth, parents, elders, catechists, leaders, and all the faithful has an important role to play in building this parish into a vibrant home of faith.
As we begin this new chapter, I invite you all to walk together in unity, prayer, and cooperation as pilgrims of hope. Let us actively participate in the life of the parish through the Holy Sacraments, parish activities, Small Christian Communities, and acts of charity. May our parish be a place where the Word of God is proclaimed, the Eucharist is celebrated with devotion, and love for one another is lived daily.
I also encourage openness, patience, and mutual support as we grow. Like any new beginning, there will be challenges, but with faith in God and collaboration among ourselves, we shall overcome them.
Let us entrust St. Achileo Kiwanuka, Migadde Catholic Parish to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother, and all the saints, that this parish may become a beacon of faith, hope, and love for all.
May the Lord bless you and your families abundantly.
Yours in Christ,
Fr. Jude Kato
